Pioneer DJ has just announced the new HDJ-2000MK2 flagship DJ headphones just in time for this year’s NAMM show. The Pioneer HDJ-2000MK2 headphones have been upgraded from the original HDJ-2000 headphones with sleeker styling, better sound quality, and better isolation for Professional DJ’s who need a good monitoring experience in the DJbooth.

The new HDJ-2000MK2 headphones have 50mm drivers for that familiar over-the-ear design that the originals were known for. They have metal hinges in the construction for durability and protein leather with memory foam in the earcups for comfort. The HDJ-2000MK2’s have a foldable design, will come with a travel case, a detachable straight woven cable, and a coiled cable. They will be available in February with a suggested retail price of $449. We’ll be sure to get a set in the lab for the full video review treatment. Check out the full press release below for more information and stay tuned for more NAMM 2015 Coverage!
