Pioneer just introduced a new mixer and a new CDJ this year, and have brought replacement parts to their headphone lines this year at NAMM. They also have come out with new Series of powered Speakers for DJ’s dubbed the XPRS series.
It is comprised of the XPRS15 and XPRS12 two-way full range speakers, and the XPRS215S dual 15-inch subwoofer. The main feature of the series are hard wood enclosures and high quality driver materials to produce natural sound, powersoft class D amps for high powered and reliable performance, auto-ranging power supply for consistent sound quality, and advanced protection features to help prolong the speakers life.
There are also key features of the XPRS15 and XPRS12: High-performance drivers deliver a powerful, full-range sound, Pioneer’s AFAST acoustic tube that reduces standing waves for stronger low-mid frequencies, four EQ modes for a variety of genres and environments,
rotatable horn that lets you mount the speakers vertically and horizontally, wedge shape and pole mount socket with tilt for a choice of three positions, and multiple inputs and outputs for flexible, easy set up.
For the XPRS215S: you have dual 15-inch loaded subwoofer with a quick, powerful bass response, crossover and Phase switches that driver instant control of your DSP settings and multiple inputs and outputs, for flexible, easy set up.
The Series will be available in May 2016, with retail prices of $1,199.00 for the XPRS12, $1,299.00 for the XPRS15, and $1,599.00 for the XPRS215S.
