Native Instruments Announces Traktor 2 and Audio 2, 6, and 10 Interfaces
Native Instruments has been extremely busy over the past year developing an all new Traktor program and interfaces for DJ's all across the lands. Introducing the all new Traktor Duo 2 and Traktor Pro 2 software suites. To go along with these new software revisions and updates are the all new Traktor 6 and Traktor 10 USB interfaces that will allow the user to do things with loops and samples that was only a dream with the previous software and hardware offerings from NI.
If you, (like myself), really enjoyed the special Traktor software program that came with the Traktor Kontrol S4 interface, then you will love what NI has done with Traktor 2. With the new Traktor 2 software, DJ's can now take advantage of sample decks and loop functions found in the Traktor Kontrol S4 software. The Traktor 2 software also has a more user-friendly layout and a full color and detailed waveform which makes the original Traktor software look somewhat outdated. The new version of Traktor also boasts new effect modules that will be sure to bring a smile to your faces.

On the hardware side, it seems that the original NI Audio 4 and Audio 8 interfaces are now being replaced by the Audio 6 and Audio 10 interfaces respectively. Basically, they are still the same units as before, but the Audio 6 (2-deck version) and Audio 10 (4-deck version) will include an extra set of inputs and outputs to accommodate the sample and looping functions found on the newer version of Traktor 2.

Also available is the complete Traktor Scratch packages which include the interface and software the DJ needs for their playing style. There is a Traktor Scratch Duo 2 kit which comes with the Audio 6 interface and the Traktor Duo 2 software for two-deck control and then there is the Traktor Scratch Pro 2 kit which comes bundled with the Audio 10 interface and the Traktor Pro 2 software for four-deck control.
You already know we are going to get a set of BOTH kits for full review along with videos galore! Until then, keep it locked here for more updates and information. For more on Native Instruments please view the Traktor site
