NBA Works With Allen & Heath i-Live for the Playoffs

It's not often that a professional sports team calls a production company to help fix their sound issues after the regular season; but that's exactly what Hooper Sound Production and Allen & Heath set out to do for the Oklahoma City Thunder NBA team during the 2010 Playoffs. The crowd in the Ford Center gets so loud that the sound system wasn't good enough to handle the extra decibels that a playoff atmosphere brings to an arena. The Allen & Heath iLive-144 mixing Console was the solution.

Allen & Heath has just announced that they are releasing a Digital USB version of the Xone:43 analog mixer which will be dubbed the Xone:43C. [Video] 2012 DJ Expo - Vestax + Allen & Heath

Our good friends over at American Music and Sound were at the 2012 DJ Expo with their Lineup of Vestax controllers and Allen & Heath Mixers. The Vestax Typoon in both color configurations were these to use along with the professional VCI-380 and VCI-400 controllers both running in Serato. Allen & Heath had the DB2 and the DB4 getting the most love from the DJ's as soon as anyone touched one. NAMM 2010 - Allen & Heath Xone:DX Announced!

After weeks of speculation and buzz around the industry, Allen & Heath and Serato Audio Research have announced the launch of the Xone:DX, a new Plug'n'Play DJ controller, the result of close collaboration between the two companies. The DX, another development in Allen & Heath's Xone:D range of controllers, is a 20-channel USB soundcard and features total integration of the brand new 4-deck Serato ITCH software.

Allen & Heath Xone:DB2 Mixer Announced

Allen & Heath has just announced the new Xone:DB2 four-channel MIDI mixer with an interal USB soundcard and a crazy effects and EQ section that is sure to get the mixing DJ's very excited. The DB2 mixer is the more affordable "younger" brother of the Xone:DB4, but is still full of most of the important features that has made the DB4 so successful. It is still a full MIDI controller and can work with any DJ Software out there on the market today and it can also link with the new Xone:K2 software controller via the new X:LINK connection port. Allen & Heath keeps analog DJ's alive with the release of the new Xone:43 mixer. The Xone:43 mixer is a basically like a four channel version of the Xone:23 that we recently reviewed late last year. The Xone:43 is loaded with four phono and line RCA inputs, am XLR microphone input, headphone outputs, FX send/return, and separate Booth/Record/Master outputs.
