Hercules has recently announced its newest DJ controller in its lineup called the DJ Control Jogvision. This compact controller has a few things going for it that will make it stand out from the other Hercules offerings. The Hercules DJ Control Jogvision sports new metal top jog wheels with LED indicators for track feedback. The DJ Control Jogvision also comes bundled with Serato DJ Intro and has the cool “Air” motion sensor controls for effects and other functions.
We recently reviewed (and gave away) the
Hercules DJ Control Air+ Controller
which was nice and compact unit with the Motion Detector at the top for effects manipulation. This new DJ Control Jogvision is almost the same controller as the Air+ with these new and scratch inspired jog wheels that really look like they will do the business. The new Jog wheels have two LED indicators on them to display playback speed and track position to make it easier to juggle, scratch, and cue the music without looking at the computer screen.
The Hercules DJ Control Jogvision is also the company’s first DJ controller to include Serato DJ Intro in the box with the controller. This is a great development because I now have more confidence in the jog wheel performance than ever before. Serato always works nicely with DJ controller jog wheels and they usually provide a great latency-free experience, even with the lower priced DJ controllers.
