NI will now offer the Komplete Kontrol Keyboards with a free software download that will give users lots of Komplete sounds and melodies to start crafting beats without needing to purchase additional software. The NI team also has also launched a limited-time KEYS TO KOMPLETE Sales Special. With this special deal, from now until May 31st, 2015; owners the earlier editions of KOMPLETE and KOMPLETE ULTIMATE instrument and effect suites are eligible for special update offers when they buy a KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series keyboard.

The NI Komplete Kontrol S49 Keyboard and Komplete Ultimate combo setup that we reviewed costs well over $2000 to get all of the instruments and sounds along with the keyboard. This was a steep initial investment for some, so NI team decided to include a starter-pack of sounds and instruments from the Komplete lineup absolutely free with the purchase of every Komplete Kontrol Keyboard. This makes the initial investment and startup a lot less as you can get a Komplete Keyboard for less than $500. This new development is called Komplete Select and will include the MASSIVE synth, the new sampled piano THE GENTLEMAN, the MONARK synth, and the DRUMLAB, providing a production-ready system out of the box. Komplete Select will also include VST support by this summer which will open up the Komplete Kontrol software to third-party plug-ins so the keyboard can control all types of different non-NI instruments.
