Novation Audiohub 2x4 Soundcard [Video]

Novation has always been bringing producers and live performers excellent controllers to apply their trade on and they've finally introduced a companion Soundcard and USB hub device to make it easy to connect all of that MIDI goodness to a hardware setup. The new Novation Audiohub 2x4 soundcard has a three-port USB hub, two inputs, and four outputs to connect all of the setup to a computer and other sound systems.

In my latest DIY Video, I'm showing the masses how they can install a Traktor/Serato DVS soundcard inside of your favorite mixer for a nicely updated and compact setup. Some new mixers on the market today come with a DVS soundcard already installed (Traktor Z2, Pioneer DJM-T1, Rane Sixty-One) so that the user only has to connect their CD or vinyl timecode decks directly into the RCA inputs for a plug-and-play solution. I installed a Traktor A4 inside of the Korg KM-202 & a Traktor A6 inside of the Vestax PMC-05ProIV. Check out the writeup & video inside to see how it's done.

The Novation Launchpad S was announced earlier this month as the successor MIDI controller to the original Novation Launchpad which allows DJ's and Performers to control Ableton Live or any other performance with great precision and ease. The new Novation Launchpad S has 64 Tri-Colored Pads, brighter LED's, and a faster refresh rate than the original and it also works nicely with the iPad. Novation, the creators of the popular Dicer Media Controllers, has now thrown its hat into the all-in-one controller market by introducing the Novation Twitch at this year's Musikmesse 2011. This new controller comes bundled with Serato Itch and is noticeably lacking something that all the other controllers have. They've created a controller WITHOUT the use of jog wheels or platters!
