Novation Twitch Announced at Musikmesse 2011

Novation, the creators of the popular Dicer Media Controllers, has now thrown its hat into the all-in-one controller market by introducing the Novation Twitch at this year's Musikmesse 2011. This new controller comes bundled with Serato Itch and is noticeably lacking something that all the other controllers have. They've created a controller WITHOUT the use of jog wheels or platters! But they do some cool things with touchstrips that will still have DJ's grinning from ear to ear. More inside.

The Novation Twitch can be programmed to work with other popular DJ software as well. It looks like the major focus of the device will be Cues, Loops, and beat-grids instead of fancy platter work that some DJ's are known for. In this day and age, it seems that remixing, mashups, and slicing is all the rage and the Novation Twitch will likely be the premier device for such DJ's. Coming in at only $500, its sure to be a big seller. Check out the press release and links for more information... You know we will get one for a full video review as soon as they are released in July 2011!
