Numark and Algoriddm have just teamed up to give the iDJ Live controller a seamless integration with the djay app for iPad, iPhone, or the iPod touch. The djay app provides DJ's with a system that allows users to mix and scratch directly from their iTunes Library. This super-compact controller system can now also be powered directly from the i-device itself, meaning that the user no longer needs a power cable to operate when using the djay app. This is the first midi controller device that allows people to DJ without a laptop or other computer. Numark has just released their iPod enabled Four-Channel mixer which was introduced at NAMM earlier this year. The Numark iM9 offers DJ's who use iPods the ultimate integration between their MP3 players and their DJ setup. For a street price of $300, you get 10 on-board effects, four separate outputs, BPM track auto-sync, and a user replaceable crossfader (for something more scratch-worthy such as an Innofader or Pro-X-Fader). My good friends over at Numark are once again working along side the Apple Powerhouse to create an iPod and iPhone compadible media controller platform. This time, they are introducing the iDJ3 software controller and audio interface with an integrated dock for the iPod and iPhone which is now Available at retail. Info and pricing inside.

Numark is making lots of products that are directly compatible with the iPad and the differen iPod MP3 players that are currently out there on the market today. Numark has now announced the iDJ v2.0 Playlist application for the iPad that has been improved and enhanced for even better performance and support for the iPad 2. This App allows users to create seamless playlists of the tracks already loaded onto their iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. The App is Free for v1.0 users and only costs $1.99 for first time buyers of the software. Details inside.

Numark has recently announced their newest DJ system called the Mixdeck Quad. This particular mixing system is super-diverse with the ability to play CD's, USB drives, iPad/iPod files, MP3's, and it has full MIDI support. The setup is basically a set of NDX-900 decks fused together with a mixing console in the middle that can all be controlled by a computer via DJ software or an iPad DJ system. Numark has recently sent us a brand new Numark Mixdeck for a full-in-depth-HD-Video review which will be out in about two weeks. The Numark Mixdeck was announced earlier this year at the NAMM show in California, but this time for the Musikmesse show in Germany, they have added two more decks of control to produce the all new Numark Mixdeck Quad Midi controller.
