I am going to announce a premier event at the Juliet Supperclub in NYC on Wednesday, August 24th called Mission:Control. The club is installing the all new Numark NS6 Digital DJ Controller permanently in their DJ booth! There will be high profile DJ’s on hand during the private, invitation only installation including Kelly G, Kay Gee, Jazzy Joyce (from HOT 97), Marley Marl, DJ Ace, and Beverley Bond, then a party open to everyone afterwards. The Numark NS6 has been out on the market for almost two years now, but its still one of my favorite controllers to use with Serato. During our HD-Video review, we loved the build quality, tight jog wheels, and excellent fader feel along with the plethora of input and output options that are available to the users. The NS6 now gets a free software upgrade from Serato Itch to the new and improved Serato DJ and DJ CXL is in the Numark Studio to give a quick demo video of the new look and features. Another big hit straight out of NAMM this year is the newest digital media controller from Numark called the NS6. If it looks familiar, that's because it is! It's basically a Numark NS7 controller with touch sensitive jog wheels and an additional two channels/decks at the DJ's disposal. With the touch sensitive jog wheels, four-channel mixer, and four-decks of Serato Itch software control, this unit sure seems like a winner to us. I'm sure the rest of the DJ companies with four-channel-deck controllers are now shaking in their boots. Full press release and product details inside.

Our good friends over at Numark has sent us the long-awaited Numark NS6 Digital DJ Controller for a full video review which will be released shortly. The Numark NS6 controller will be available for purchase worldwide on June 1st 2011. Until then, here is the First Impressions and Unboxing video of the 4-deck controller which is gaining quite a buzz amongst DJ's everywhere. So far, I'm pretty impressed with this DJ Controller... The NS6 has some smooth faders, nice jog wheels, and a plethora of inputs and outputs that will cater to many different DJ's needs. Numark has just announced a new addition to their Digital DJ Controller lineup called the Numark N4. The N4 is a 4-channel/4-deck DJ controller that looks to be nice mixture between the Numark NS6 and the Numark Mixdeck and will most likely be priced somewhere between them as well. The Numark N4 will have full timecode support for your external Digital Vinyl System CD/Vinyl decks meaning you won't need another soundcard to use timecode features. The N4 can also function as a standalone mixer without the use of a computer. The Video, Press Release, and More Information after the jump.

As you all know, the Numark NS6 Digital DJ Controller is now a major player in the DJ MIDI market. After our full video review was released, Numark treated NS6 owners to a little surprise. In the review, we complained that the crossfader had an additional 1MM of dead-space that made complex scratching a bit difficult. Numark has responded by giving NS6 users a free crossfader plate that eliminates this additional "dead-space". All NS6 owners have to do is go to the Numark Website and fill out an ownership form and the free crossfader plate will be on its way. Details Inside.
