The Numark NS7 has been out on the market for over 3 years now, but its still one of my favorite controllers to use with Serato as its still the only controller that contains actively spinning platters and a mixing console all in one single unit. During DJ Esco's written review, we loved the build quality, excellent vinyl feel on the platters, and a high quality mixing section to round out the package. The NS7 now gets a free software upgrade from Serato Itch to the new and improved Serato DJ and DJ CXL is in the Numark Studio to give a quick demo video of the new look and features. Numark has now released the NS7III and we've got one in the lab for the full review treatment. In this newest version, the Numark NS7III has all the same features and layout of the NS7II controller we reviewed last year, but it also adds three new 4.3-inch full-color screens for full track and navigation information without the need to look at the laptop screen. We recently reviewed the new Dual-Screen Serato DJ Controller called the Numark NV and we found that it was a great device that allows the user to focus on the performance and crowd without gazing at the computer screen. The Numark NV works with Virtual DJ but the Serato DJ experience is where it all started. In the meantime, Numark has released its own unboxing & setup video as well as a cool Serato DJ performance video to show users what its like spinning on the new NS7III with those three shiny screens that allow DJ's to finally ditch the laptop screen for good.

The Numark NS7 was and still is a huge hit amongst DJ's who want the feel of good old fashioned vinyl mixed in with the convenience of a Digital DJ Controller. At this year's NAMM, Numark has announced the successor to its super successful controller called the NS7 II. The NS7 II has the same vinyl top actively spinning motorized platters found on the original NS7 along with two extra channels of control, a standalone mixer function, and 16 performance pads that will all work in perfect harmony with the new Serato DJ software.
