Numark NS7III Introduction [Video]
Numark has recently unveiled its newest flagship controller the NS7III. In this newest version, the Numark NS7III has all the same features and layout of the NS7II controller we reviewed last year, but it also adds three new 4.3-inch full-color screens for full track and navigation information without the need to look at the laptop screen. The new Numark NS7III almost looks identical to the NS7II; except their is an additional panel attached to the top of the unit that holds the three screens in place. It almost reminds me of the additional FX strip that was attached to the original NS7 to make the NS7FX model shortly after. Numark, in fact, will be selling the screen unit as an add-on that screws into the back of the NS7II for a few hundred bucks. It’ll plug into the USB port, and daisy chain out to the laptop. They definitely took a page out of the Numark NV book with the screens, but the Numark team decided to look at the biggest criticism of the screens and make improvements. Hence the need for a third screen in the middle of the unit which can serve as a dedicated file navigation/browser screen or it can also display parallel waveforms for easy beatmatching and juggling duties.
