Late last year while surfing the Numark DJ website, I noticed that the beloved TTX professional DJ turntable was listed in the “Discontinued” section. That’s because they were working on a new flagship turntable called the Numark NTX1000. This new deck replaces the TTX and has a metal rugged construction, high torque direct drive motor, and everything else anyone would want in a professional DJ turntable. It looks to be a Super-OEM design, but I’m not so sure considering Numark and Denon DJ both are InMusic Brands and Denon has a new turntable in the works that looks similar to this in construction and feature-set. This could be a re-branded Denon turntable, but we’ll know in time. I will certainly get this in the lab for the full out review treatment on video once it comes out in Q3 2017 for $400… Check out the full press release below.
