Numark Releases iDJ Live II Controller

Numark has released the new iDJ Live II Digital DJ controller that is compatible with all iOS devices and both PC and Mac computers. This versatile DJ controller is priced at only $100 and contains all the on-board DJ controls necessary to start spinning immediately. The iDJ Live II comes bundled with Algoriddim's LE software for Mac and Virtual DJ LE for PC while the Algoriddim DJay and VJay apps are available for purchase at the App store for all other iOS devices.

Numark and Algoriddm have just teamed up to give the iDJ Live controller a seamless integration with the djay app for iPad, iPhone, or the iPod touch. The djay app provides DJ's with a system that allows users to mix and scratch directly from their iTunes Library. This super-compact controller system can now also be powered directly from the i-device itself, meaning that the user no longer needs a power cable to operate when using the djay app. This is the first midi controller device that allows people to DJ without a laptop or other computer. The Numark Mixtrack Quad Pro DJ controller has just been announced and is on its way to this week's Musikmesse 2013 show in Frankfurt Germany for all to see. The Mixtrack Quad is the 4-deck version of the newly released (and reviewed) Mixtrack Pro II Digital DJ controller. With the Mixtrack Quad, the user gets two additional decks/channels to mix with, multi-colored LED's on the performance pads/jog wheels, and even better construction for added durability. Numark is making some serious waves at the 2012 NAMM show this week with another huge surprise for iPad users and DJ's. Introducing the Numark IDJ-Pro complete iPad DJ controller system. The complete setup appears to have two decks of control and a cutout in the middle of the controller to place the iPad. The iPad will run all the necessary software making the IDJ-Pro a fully enclosed unit for easy transport and setup. The IDJ-Pro platform runs on Algoriddim's Djay software and looks pretty promising from the first promo pics. More details to follow shortly.

The Numark Mixtrack Pro II was just announced earlier today at this year's NAMM 2012 show as the new successor to the Numark Mixtrack Pro original DJ controller. The Mixtrack Pro II will come bundled with Serato DJ Intro, but the folks at Serato have already started working on the upgrade path to the full Serato DJ software. Serato has just sent out a quick video demo of the Numark Mixtrack Pro II working in perfect harmony with Serato DJ.
