Two full years ago, we reviewed the
which we liked for their minimal on-the-ear profile, clear sound, and a nice comfortable fit on the head. The new Marshall Major II headphones have now been announced and they take all of the good features from the original headphones while adding a few new features to make them a better overall set of cans.
The new Marshall Major II Headphones have new custom drivers to delivery deeper bass and more refined mids/highs. The Major II now has a fully detachable and high quality cable where the original headphones had a permanently attached cable. Marshall also says the durable vinyl finish has been upgraded along with better hinge construction and headband design. Even the earcups can rotate more freely so they conform to the head better. We’ll be sure to get a set in the lab for an updated review of the Marshall Major II Headphones which are available now for only $119.
