We recently reviewed the new Native Instruments tools that allow producers to make music of all styles and genres. The
easily allows users to bang out beats on the drum pads while the
made it simple to add a melody to the rhythm. Now NI has released the new Maschine 2.3 and the Komplete 1.1 updates that will make workflows easier and give producers a head start when making new music.
The Maschine 2.3 update expands the sound library with Komplete Select – a premium instrument and effect collection that adds six new instruments to your Library. Plus an all-new drum synth for cymbals, additional engines for the hi-hat, snare, and tom drum synths, two hall reverbs, new distortion and limiter modes, and much more.
The Komplete 1.1 update comes with the new Komplete Select sounds as well as opening the Komplete platform to all single Komplete Instruments and provides a powerful new set of performance features. Improvements include the ability to route and record MIDI sequences created with Komplete’s Smart Play functions freely within a DAW environment, as well as sending MIDI to outboard gear.
