Pioneer DDJ-RR Unboxing [Video]

The New Pioneer DJ DDJ-RR is very similar to the DDJ-SR for Serato, but this one is built specifically for Rekordbox DJ software and it includes RGB backlit pads that the original did not. The DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR are also the first controllers to support PC Master Out, for playing master output through your computer’s internal speakers or connected desktop speakers, while using the controller for your headphones at the same time. The DDJ-RR also has a new Sequence feature that allows DJ's to perform in new ways. Check out our quick unboxing video to get our first impressions on the new DDJ-RR.

Pioneer DDJ-SR Serato DJ Controller Unboxing & First Impressions [Video]

The Pioneer DDJ-SR is essentially a trimmed down two-deck version of the DDJ-SX which controls four decks of Serato DJ. The new DDJ-SR has a smaller footprint than the DDJ-SX and adds a new PAD PLUS button that gives the 16-performance pads even more functions than before. Even though only two channels are present, the controller is layered so four decks of software control is still possible. The full video and written reviews are on the way, but peep our unboxing video to see the DDJ-SR fresh out of the box.

This means that this is the entry-level DJ controller for Rekordbox but it also has a few new features from its Serato counterpart including separate transport controls that mimic the Play/Pause and Cue buttons on their popular XDJ/CDJ lineup.
