Pioneer DDJ-WeGO3 Controller Announcement [Video]
Pioneer has just announced the third iteration in their entry level DJ controller called the Pioneer DDJ-WeGO3. Long ago, we reviewed the original DDJ-WeGO (found here) and it was a great controller for any new DJ and it had versatility to work with different software. The DDJ-WeGO3 continues where the original left off with a new sleeker design, stronger construction, and an included iOS lightning cable that also charges the iOS device while in use.
The new DDJ-WeGO3 now has a lower profile all around and the entire top plate of the controller is aluminium for added rigidity and quality. The DDJ-WeGO3 also has mutli-colored LED's under each jog wheel to give the user feedback and the wheels themselves have also been given a makeover to go with the new design. The DDJ-WeGO3 now has an optional power cable that can charge iOS devices with the included Lightning cable when in use. There is a quarter-inch microphone port on the back along with an RCA output to connect the speakers. The DDJ-WeGO3 is compatible with many different DJ software such as Traktor Pro 2, Djay, VirtualDJ LE, and Serato DJ Intro.
The DDJ-WeGO3 will be available in both black and white versions and they will be priced at around $350 when they are released in October 2014. 4We'll be sure to have lots more information on this new controller when we get one in the lab for the unboxing and review treatment so stay tuned!
