Pioneer DJ Rekordbox 4.1 DVS Released [Video]
Pioneer just released the DVS pack for Rekordbox DJ in their latest update. It would have been all gravy if it wasn’t for something that Pioneer does a lot and that is charging $99 for an update. That is right, it will cost an additional $99 on top of the $129 you probably had to pay to get Rekorbox DJ if you want DVS capability.
What is it you get for 99 dollars you ask?
You get two modes of playing:
Absolute Mode: Replicate the experience of scratching with traditional vinyl.
5 New Albums You Need to Hear This Week
Dive into new albums from Strick, Muni Long, Ibraah, Highway, and Shoy.
5 Songs You Need to Hear: Best of the Week
Lil Nas X, Lil Durk, Teni, Ekkstacy, and dhruv released new songs you need to hear — all available for stream on the Audiomack app.
5 New Albums You Need to Hear This Week
Tap into new projects from Giveon, Moelogo, Chucky73, Bils, and Cochise.
Relative Mode: Access digital features regardless of where the needle is on the Control Vinyl.
You get access to MIDI Learn to assign features to your controller.
And that is it folks. If you are investing into the Pioneer ecosystem, then this is probably not going to be that big of deal for you, but for everyone else, I would presume it might render their willingness to try this out.
Pioneer does have a video which you can check out below.
