Pioneer DJ Wins 5 Awards at WMC 2012

The Pioneer DJ Division won a total of five awards the 27th annual International Dance Music Awards held at the recent 2012 Winter Music Conference, including Manufacturer of the Year and Best New Product award for the DDJ-T1 DJ controller. Pioneer DJ also won awards for Best Headphones (HDJ-2000), Best CD player (CDJ-2000) and Best Mixer (DJM-900nexus). Check inside for more information and for the full press release.

Year in and Year out, Pioneer DJ has the biggest and best exhibit in all of the DJ Expo Land. This year, Pioneer has pulled out all the stops and even managed to give us some last-minute announcements that had me scrambling less than a week before the start of the show. Excellent marketing by Pioneer as everyone and their mother was seen at the Pioneer DJ Booth to try out the new DDJ-ERGO-Limited and the new XDJ-AERO which were all on display and ready for all DJ's to give them a try. A few short years ago, Pioneer allowed famous DJ's to use their CDJ decks as an art canvas to make some really cool pieces that were auctioned off for charity. Fast forward to today and Pioneer DJ has re-initiated it's efforts and this time the CDJ-2000NEXUS units have been nicely decorated and are currently being auctioned off at charitybuzz.com/pioneerdjartmix with all proceeds generated going to VH1 Save The Music Foundation, to restore music education programs in public schools.

It's that time again! DJ Times and Pioneer DJ Division announces the annual America's Best DJ Vote which is Now Open! All (or most) of your favorite radio, performance, and club DJ's are on the list for you to choose from. Check out the official DJbooth.net Video Coverage of the Pioneer DJ Booth at the 2011 Atlantic City DJ Expo at the Trump Taj Mahal. On-hand were the entire line of CDJ media players, DJM mixers, and their new Monitor Speaker Setups. There were a bunch of kiosks for people to choose from with a nice variety of gear combinations. The DJM-T1 Traktor Mixer was one of the most popular pieces while the DJM-2000 mixer and the all-white 350 system were visually stunning at the Pioneer DJ Booth.
