Pioneer has just announced the DJM-250, a new two-channel entry-level mixer with lots of inputs and outputs and a filter effects knob for each channel. This mixer will be available in Black (December 2011) and in White (Janurary 2012) shortly. They promise to deliver the same professional sound quality as their higher-priced mixers but for a great price that most DJ's can afford. There are 8 Inputs and XLR Balanced Outputs for those who want the best sound possible. What we have here is a bare-bones DJ mixer with the features that real-world DJ's will use all the time but at a fraction of the cost of some others. The price will be somewhere between $300-$400 on store shelves when they are released. We will DEFINITELY get one for a full video review as soon as it drops in December. For now, check out the press release, introduction video, and the pioneer website for more information.
Pioneer DJM-250 Mixer Unboxing/First Impressions Video
The new Pioneer DJM-250 is a two-channel professional DJ mixer with the same high quality club sound components as the higher end Pioneer Models. The DJM-250 sports a three band full-kill EQ and a huge oversized High/Low Pass filter knob for each individual channel. Couple that with a bunch of inputs and outputs and you have a powerful little mixer in a compact package. The Full HD-Video review is in the works, but check out the unboxing/first impressions video inside for a sneak peak.
