Our good friends over at Pioneer DJ Division has sent us a Pioneer DJM-T1 Traktor Scratch Certified Professional DJ Mixer for a full HD-Video review which we will release shorty. I just received the DJM-T1 in the mail a couple of days ago and I was able to complete a quick unboxing and first impressions video so that potential buyers and DJ's alike can see exactly what you get when you purchase one of these at a reseller. The DJM-T1 comes with Traktor Scratch Duo 2 DJ software and has an internal Native Instruments Traktor soundcard that allows users to use DVS timecode Vinyl or CD decks for computer and audio file playback. The new Pioneer DJM-850 four-channel Traktor Scratch Certified DJ mixer is now in the DJbooth Lab for a full HD-Video review which will drop in the next couple of weeks. The Pioneer DJM-850 comes in silver or in black and can be used for Traktor Scratch Playback of external DVS timecode decks without the need to purchase an additional Traktor Audio soundcard. Even better, the Pioneer DJM-850 has Sound Color effects and a whole array of Beat Effects that can be applied to any input. While scouring through the internet, I was able to find a cool new video on the new Pioneer DJM-T1 Digital Traktor Mixer. This video is a nice demo showing many of the key functions of the DJM-T1 while DJ Jekey shows you all it can do. This mixer also provides full DVS functionality, meaning that you can plug your analog decks directly into it without the need for an additional soundcard like the Audio 4. I've already seen the price tag of about $1500 floating around the internet so it's anyone's guess how many people think it's worth it. Either way, we will have one very soon for a full Video Review. Pioneer has now released a brand new .TSI configuration file for the Pioneer DJM-T1 Traktor Certified Mixer that updates the mapping of the on-board MIDI controls so that they work seamlessly with the brand new features found in the Traktor Pro 2.6 DJ Software update. The new update file is available for free download on the Pioneer DJ website and is very easy to setup and install. The new Pioneer DJM-250 is a two-channel professional DJ mixer with the same high quality club sound components as the higher end Pioneer Models. The DJM-250 sports a three band full-kill EQ and a huge oversized High/Low Pass filter knob for each individual channel. Couple that with a bunch of inputs and outputs and you have a powerful little mixer in a compact package.
