Pioneer Rekordbox DJ Tutorial [Videos]

Last month we reviewed the new Pioneer DDJ-RR Digital DJ Controller that uses the new Rekordbox DJ software. We explained lots of the features in detail and highly recommend the controller to anyone who wants something solid in the Rekordbox DJ realm. Pioneer DJ has now released a tutorial series of videos showing some in-depth features of the Rekordbox DJ software.

The new Pioneer DDJ-RB is similar to the DDJ-SB2 controller for Serato DJ software, but this time it is totally aimed for use on the Rekordbox DJ software. This means that this is the entry-level DJ controller for Rekordbox but it also has a few new features from its Serato counterpart including separate transport controls that mimic the Play/Pause and Cue buttons on their popular XDJ/CDJ lineup. Earlier today Pioneer DJ announced their two newest DJ controllers that are made to work exclusively with their new DJ software Rekordbox. The new Pioneer DDJ-RB and DDJ-RR controllers were revealed in today's latest videos by the Pioneer DJ team. Check out the new controllers after the jump.

Earlier this morning Pioneer DJ has released a very quick teaser video of what looks to be like their new Rekordbox software with a lot more features. Specifically, it looks like the Rekordbox software that currently handles track preparation and library management for CDJ/DJM users will now be able to work in real time with new DJ controllers and perhaps even DVS timecode vinyl setups. Earlier this month Pioneer DJ released the new WeDJ app for DJ's using apple devices and the entry level DDJ-WeGO4 DJ controller that works with the app and Rekordbox DJ which gives it the ultimate portability and versatility. Pioneer DJ just released a set of 19 videos that will show users how to use the WeDJ app and the DDJ-WeGO4 to get them started using this new setup. Check out the tutorial videos after the jump.

The latest iteration of the original Pioneer DDJ-SB controller that we reviewed last year includes all the same features with the addition of Gain control knobs, line level meters, the Pad Trans beat effect, and 4-deck control. The Pioneer DDJ-SB2 has many improvements over the original, an Pioneer DJ has just released a new eight-part Tutorial Video series to show what it can do.

Pioneer DJ has recently released a brand new beginner-level Digital DJ controller for their Serato lineup called the DDJ-SB. This new compact and USB-Powered controller has the familiar 16 Performance Pads layout, Slip-Mode, built-in Low Pass/High Pass filter knobs, and comes bundled with Serato DJ Intro for the excellent street price of only $300. We're currently working on the DDJ-SR review, so the DDJ-SB review will just have to wait in line. In the meantime, Pioneer has just released a slew of new tutorial videos to get owners started off on the right path.

The new Serato DJ software that comes bundled with the new Pioneer DDJ-SX will soon be released to all current Serato Itch Users and Serato DJ Intro Users within the next few months. This newly updated software will have quite a few differences from what those DJ's are normally used to, so the Serato team decided to get everyone familiar with Serato DJ by releasing a slew of new Tutorial videos so users can see exactly what's changed and how to use the features.
