Pioneer RM-05 & RM-07 Studio Monitors Announced

Pioneer has just announced that they are releasing a new lineup of powered studio monitors for DJ's and producers. The new Pioneer RM-05 & RM-07 have HD coaxial drivers that place both the woofer and the tweeter on the same axis for superb sound and response across the frequency ranges. Around the back, there is a three-band EQ as well as unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR inputs. The RM-05 has a five inch woofer while the RM-07 has a seven inch woofer.

[Video] Pioneer S-DJ80X Monitor Unboxing & First Impressions

Pioneer has recently announced the new S-DJ X monitor lineup that is affordable and squarely aimed at DJ's who want good performance speakers in a small form factor. The Pioneer S-DJ X range comes in either the five-inch (S-DJ50X), the six-inch (S-DJ60X), or the eight-inch (S-DJ80X) woofer configurations and have an auto on/off mode to save on power when not in use. They are powered internally by an AB amplifier and Pioneer says that the technology in the woofer design and front port found on these speakers improve air flow with “Groove Technology”. Hercules Announces XPS 2.0 80 DJ Monitor

Hercules has recently announced their introduction into the DJ monitor speaker market with their new Hercules XPS 2.0 80 DJ Monitor. This new active (powered) monitor speaker system includes a set of two speakers each with four-inch woofers and silk-dome tweeters to satisfy your high, mid, and low output needs. The cabinets are made of wood while the speakers have RCA and 1/4-inch inputs along with a Headphone output. The Retail price will only be $170 so check them out while you can. Akai Announces RPM500 and RPM800 Monitors

Akai, the legendary studio production station company, has announced the release of two new Studio reference monitors called the RPM500 (with a 5-inch woofer) and the RPM800 (with an 8-inch woofer). These new powered monitors boast great balance, sound, and build quality at a competitive price point.
