Pioneer RM-05 & RM-07 Studio Monitors Announced

Pioneer has just announced that they are releasing a new lineup of powered studio monitors for DJ's and producers. The new Pioneer RM-05 & RM-07 have HD coaxial drivers that place both the woofer and the tweeter on the same axis for superb sound and response across the frequency ranges. Around the back, there is a three-band EQ as well as unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR inputs. The RM-05 has a five inch woofer while the RM-07 has a seven inch woofer.

Today, the Pioneer DJ group has announced the new S-DJ X monitor lineup that is affordable and squarely aimed at DJ's who want good performance speakers in a small form factor. The Pioneer S-DJ X range comes in either the five-inch (S-DJ50X), the six-inch (S-DJ60X), or the eight-inch (S-DJ80X) woofer configurations and have an auto on/off mode to save on power when not in use.

Pioneer has recently announced the new S-DJ X monitor lineup that is affordable and squarely aimed at DJ's who want good performance speakers in a small form factor. The Pioneer S-DJ X range comes in either the five-inch (S-DJ50X), the six-inch (S-DJ60X), or the eight-inch (S-DJ80X) woofer configurations and have an auto on/off mode to save on power when not in use. They are powered internally by an AB amplifier and Pioneer says that the technology in the woofer design and front port found on these speakers improve air flow with “Groove Technology”. A few short weeks ago, M-Audio has announced the release of their new three-way active studio monitors called the M3-6 (with a 6-inch woofer) and the M3-8 (with an 8-inch woofer). These new monitors contain three separate amplifiers so that all three bands of the EQ range receive their own dedicated "clean" power for great sound reproduction.

Hercules has recently announced their introduction into the DJ monitor speaker market with their new Hercules XPS 2.0 80 DJ Monitor. This new active (powered) monitor speaker system includes a set of two speakers each with four-inch woofers and silk-dome tweeters to satisfy your high, mid, and low output needs. Akai, the legendary studio production station company, has announced the release of two new Studio reference monitors called the RPM500 (with a 5-inch woofer) and the RPM800 (with an 8-inch woofer).
