Production Gear: Korg Wavedrum Black
We are back with our Production Gear entries again for the producer that is out there hiding deep within all DJ's. Korg has been releasing an incredible amount of gear lately aimed at affordability with high levels of functionality all at the same time. One such gear release is their new Wavedrum Black. The Wavedrum is actually an older invention from Korg, originating in 1994, but they decided to update the design with a Black Suede Remo drum head and a limited edition solid black metallic rim. The Wavedrum can be used as a MIDI trigger providing accurate drum-head feel or it can be used in a digital drum set as apart of a digital drum set. This thing can do so much more, but I have never used it before, so I'll let the experts tell it in the Press Release below...
