[Video] Rane Sixty-Two Z Unboxing & First Impressions

A few short months ago, we reviewed the Rane Sixty-One Serato Scratch Live Professional DJ mixer which boasts great build quality and an interal SSL soundcard interface so that DJ's can connect vinyl or CD timecode for digital music playback via computer. The new Rane Sixty-Two mixer builds upon the SSL interface and high-quality craftsmanship of the Sixty-One by adding on-board MIDI controls so that DJ's can trigger cue points, samples, Loops, and effects. Rane recently sent us a brand new Sixty-Two Z Limited Edition (with cool Z-trip Artwork & Pro RCA Cables) mixer for a complete video and written review that will be completed shortly, so watch this space. Rane Seventy-Two Mixer & Twelve Turntable Controller

The rumors have now been confirmed! Just in time for the DJ Expo which kicks off tomorrow, Rane has unleashed the Beast! The newly announced Rane Seventy-Two Mixer and Twelve Turntable Controller are a reality. The Rane Seventy-Two mixer is a two channel battle mixer which looks like a Pioneer DJM-S9 with a screen in the middle and three Rane Magnetic faders. The Rane Twelve Turntable Controller is a solid all metal digital turntable that does not use a needle or tonearm for sound, but rather digital USB connections to work with Serato DJ.
