Serato DJ, the flagship Serato software for Digital DJ controllers, has just released a new update that provides a few new functions to the Pioneer DDJ-SX while also adding new support for the Numark NS6, the Vestax VCI-400, and the Pioneer DDJ-WeGO. Along with these newly supported DJ controllers Serato DJ 1.1.2 also has a new auto-play feature and a few stability upgrades that makes everything run smoother. Pioneer Announces DDJ-SX for Serato DJ

Serato DJ software was just announced today and with it came the announcement of its newest and first official DJ controller called the Pioneer DDJ-SX. The new Pioneer DDJ-SX looks to be one of the most professional-grade DJ controllers from Pioneer to-date with a brushed metal chassis and heavy duty appearance. The DDJ-SX will be very tightly integrated with the Serato DJ software and below each jog wheel there are (8) velocity-sensitive performance pads that can be used for Cue-points, Loop Rolls, Slicer, and the SP-6, similar to the way Vestax VCI-380 does it today with Serato ITCH. [Video] Pioneer DDJ-S1 Now With Serato DJ!

The Pioneer DDJ-S1 was released back in 2011 and was designed to work with perfectly Serato Itch. We reviewed the controller and found it to be a great DJ control surface for Serato software DJ's. Now that Serato Itch software has been replaced by Serato DJ with a better layout and new features, the DDJ-S1 owners can now reap the benefits by downloading the new firmware and Free Serato DJ upgrade to get the full use out of their controller. Serato DJ 1.6.3 Update Released

Serato has just announced a brand new 1.6.3 update to it's flagship software Serato DJ to improve platter latency with the new Pioneer DDJ-SZ controller, improve platter LED response on all controllers/CDJ's, and official Serato Accessory Support for the Pioneer CDJ-900NXS. They've also fixed a Playhead jumping issue with CDJ's in Relative mode and a Slicer Mode fix with the Reloop RP-8000 turntables using link mode.

Pioneer DDJ-WeGO3 Serato DJ Intro Demo [Video]

Pioneer has just released the third iteration in their entry-level DJ controller called the Pioneer DDJ-WeGO3. Long ago, we reviewed the original DDJ-WeGO and it was a great controller for any new DJ and it had versatility to work with many different software. The DDJ-WeGO3 continues where the original left off with a new sleeker design, stronger construction, and an included iOS lightning cable that also charges the iOS device while in use. [Video] Serato DJ 1.5 Out Now!

Serato DJ 1.5 has now been released. This means that the era of Serato Scratch Live and Itch is coming to an end. Last month Serato announced that they would combine all of their Serato based DJ software into one software to rule them all which is known as the Serato DJ 1.5 release. The new release will now work with the new Pioneer DJM-900SRT, DDJ-SR, DDJ-SP1, and the Rane Sixty-Four. Of course all of the other Serato DJ controllers are also able to work with the new Serato DJ 1.5 and there's a few bug fixes and housekeeping items addressed in this update as well.

[Video] Serato DJ 1.2 and Multi-FX

Serato DJ 1.2 is now available for download to all Serato DJ controller users. The update also finally brings the Serato DJ software upgrade to Serato Itch users who own the Vestax VCI-380, the Numark NS7, Mixdeck, Mixdeck Express and the Pioneer DDJ-S1. The Serato DJ 1.2 upgrade also brings with it the new Multi-FX feature which allows DJ's to chain up to six different effects together at once.
