Not long ago, we covered a new software company named Melodics, whose main objective is to help you practice your finger drumming skills. it is a growing field of live performance indeed in the digital space and it can only keeps growing with more talented guys like Wasabi. Although his style is a blend of poppy and cartoony, it also has a taste of trap and groove into it. In Electronic music terms, it would be referred as Future Bass. Hopefully that description does justice to what it is this young man can do on his Midi Fighter 64.

For a while now, there has been a very growing interest in pad drumming rather it be for beat enthusiasts or from electronic artists looking to bring their sample based music live. Although there have been great software that aided in bring that style of music to a greater audience, there was not a way to practice and hone these skills. Well, Melodics seems to have come up with a solution.

For some, just spinning records is not enough... With the amount of features that is being enabled with advancement in technology, it is not enough to just know how to blend two tracks together nowadays. But for some, that is still not enough. And for a DJ like Kypski, he wants to be able to play out a whole remix live.

Following the video performance from Mr Switch, Pioneer has released a new performance video, this time featuring Dj Kentaro. The new Pioneer DJM-S9 Serato DJ Mixer sports eight RGB backlit pads for each channel, and a new Magvel Pro scratch crossfader that has many unique adjustments and features for todays scratch DJ and boy does he take full use of these features. DJ Shiftee, the 2009 DMC World Champion dropped a cool routine video featuring the Z2 from Native Instruments.
