The Stanton DJ division are also in the house at the Atlantic City DJ Expo and we are there to show you what they've got for us. First off, they had the Stanton CMP.800, the SCS.4DJ, the DJC.4, and so much more. Everything was on display ready to use for any who wish to do so. Also in the booth were the entire line of KRK Studio Monitors and the Cerwin Vega speaker and subwoofer line. It's Finally Here! The Stanton SCS.4DJ is the first All-In-One DJ System, with an on-board computer, LCD screen, and software package tucked away into one compact DJ package. The Stanton SCS.4DJ Digital DJ Mixstation can work as a stand-alone unit or as a full out MIDI controller for other popular DJ software on the market. After teasing us with a few shaky promotional videos and news articles, Denon DJ has finally (and officially) announced the Denon SC3900 Multi-Media USB MIDI controller. This new controller boasts iPod, CD, and USB slots for playback and can be used as an all-out MIDI controller with it's buttons and sliders being fully mappable for a Computer DJ's needs. The 9-inch actively spinning platter makes the S3900 a top-choice for hip-hop and Scratch DJ's and timecode can be used without the use of CD's. Check out the press release inside for all the specs. About a year ago, we finished the full review of the Reloop RMP-3 Multi-Media player which was a nice controller but it still had some room for improvement. Reloop has now released the specs on their anticipated upgrade which is dubbed the Reloop RMP-2.5 Alpha Multi-Media player with MIDI controller capabilities. This new unit can do everything the RMP-3 did, and then some. Users can now play CD's, Memory sticks, hard drives and use the RMP-2.5 as a full out MIDI DJ Controller to work with any popular DJ software out on the market today. Pioneer DJ has recently released the XDJ-R1 which is an all-in-one multi-media playback device and we now have one in the DJbooth.net Lab for the full review treatment. DJ's can now control the mixing, volume, fading and other functions of the XDJ-R1 from way across the room using an IOS device running the new Remotebox App. The XDJ-R1 is a very versatile playback device with CD slots, USB ports (both for MIDI software control or for Flash/Hard Drive playback), and dual screens for a true standalone capability. Last week, Denon DJ has announced the new update V.1.1.0 of their new Engine software which will make for a more enjoyable experience when using it in conjunction with the SC2900 and SC3900 Multi-Media players. Hot off the heels of the announcement, Denon has sent us a new Denon SC2900 for a full written and HD-Video review. The SC2900 is essentially the jog-wheel version of their SC3900 Multi-Media player which has an actively spinning platter with a true vinyl feel. The jog wheel has a multi-color LED ring around it to give the DJ key indicators during playback. The SC2900 has four on-board hot cue buttons, loop controls, separate start/stop adjustment knobs, Slip-Mode, and easy to use browsing controls.
