Mixers

Here is a quick unboxing video of the Vestax PMC-05proIV Black Edition. We already reviewed the 05proIV when they first hit the DJ scene, but I just added a new Black Edition to my mixer collection earlier this week, so I thought I'd share the unboxing video with my fellow DJ's. I was personally getting a bit tired of the whole 4-deck controller craze and I almost purchased one myself until I finally decided to stay true to my Hip-Hop, 2-deck roots and purchase a mixer that I've always wanted. Mixers

The new Pioneer DJM-750 Four-channel Professional DJ Mixer is finally in the DJbooth.net Lab for a full out video and written review. This new four-channel mixer has a built in 4-in/4-out USB soundcard for DVS timecode use and a host of effects options such as the brand new Boost Color FX, the Sound Color FX, and the Beat FX which can be combined to create over 100 types of effects for even more creative options than ever before. Mixers

The new Pioneer DJM-250 is a two-channel professional DJ mixer with the same high quality club sound components as the higher end Pioneer Models. The DJM-250 sports a three band full-kill EQ and a huge oversized High/Low Pass filter knob for each individual channel. Couple that with a bunch of inputs and outputs and you have a powerful little mixer in a compact package. Our new-found friends over at DJ Tech has now sent us a second mixer to review for the masses. The first video review of the DJM-303 proved to be a bit of a surprise as this new company showed us what they are capable of. DJ Tech is cranking out high-quality equipment with great features at excellent prices. Here to continue with the same methodology is the new DJ Tech X10 mixer with an internal soundcard that provides 4-input and 4-output software playback including Digital Vinyl System compatibility with most DJ Software. Our good peeps over at Stanton sent me a set of SCS.1d (decks) and a SCS.1m (mixer) so I could complete a full video review and let everyone know the capabilities of this advanced system. I am working diligently on the full review as we speak and the system will be tested on the new Traktor Pro 2 software setup. The Stanton SCS.4DJ Digital DJ Mixstation can work as a stand-alone unit or as a full out MIDI controller for other popular DJ software on the market.
