The Stanton SCS.4DJ Digital Mixstation is quite a bit of machinery that can do lots of things that no other DJ controller on the market can do today. Since Stanton has shown great innovation while also keeping the SCS.4DJ affordable, DJ Mag has taken it upon themselves to give Stanton a Tech Award for the SCS.4DJ in the category of Best DJ Controller under £600 ($943-US). We recently completed our full video review of the Stanton SCS.4DJ Mixstation and we can certainly agree that it is one heck of a machine.

[Video] Pioneer DDJ-SX Unboxing & First Impressions

The brand new Flagship Pioneer/Serato Digital DJ controller known as the DDJ-SX is now in the DJbooth.net lab for a full out HD-Video and written review. We've been waiting for one of these to come through ever since they have been released and now its finally here. We'll cover all of the features in the new DDJ-SX hardware as well as the new features and improvements found in the new Serato DJ Software. The unit just arrived yesterday, so the review is a couple of weeks away. For now, we'll take a quick look at the DDJ-SX in our Unboxing and First Impressions Video after the jump.

Stanton SCS 1 System Unboxing Video

We have just completed a short video of the unboxing and first impressions of the Stanton SCS.1 Digital DJ System. Our good peeps over at Stanton sent me a set of SCS.1d (decks) and a SCS.1m (mixer) so I could complete a full video review and let everyone know the capabilities of this advanced system. I am working diligently on the full review as we speak and the system will be tested on the new Traktor Pro 2 software setup. [Video] Denon SC2900 Unboxing & First Impressions

Last week, Denon DJ has announced the new update V.1.1.0 of their new Engine software which will make for a more enjoyable experience when using it in conjunction with the SC2900 and SC3900 Multi-Media players. Hot off the heels of the announcement, Denon has sent us a new Denon SC2900 for a full written and HD-Video review. The SC2900 is essentially the jog-wheel version of their SC3900 Multi-Media player which has an actively spinning platter with a true vinyl feel. The jog wheel has a multi-color LED ring around it to give the DJ key indicators during playback. The SC2900 has four on-board hot cue buttons, loop controls, separate start/stop adjustment knobs, Slip-Mode, and easy to use browsing controls.
