The Stanton SCS.1 System gets a Major Update
For the past few years since the Stanton SCS.1 system has been on the market, I have been receiving countless numbers of requests and inquiries regarding reviews and overall product information on this elusive controller setup. At the time, I was told that there wasn't any units available for review and reports from around the internet spoke of timing issues and an overall unfinished product by Stanton. Today is a brand new day and the Stanton SCS.1 system is now completely updated and one is on its way to me as we speak for a Complete Video Review. That's right folks... I was promised a complete SCS.1 system consisting of (2) SCS.1d MIDI decks and an SCS.1m MIDI mixer for a complete unboxing video and full video review. I would have posted this news earlier, but I didn't want to introduce this update until I was certain I would get my hands on the system so I could really tell the readers what this deck is capable of. This new update has new presets which allows for better software integration with Traktor Pro and other software, new ASIO driver to support Windows 7, Vista, and XP, DaRouter software (for better scratching), and a new Firmware mapping that makes the SCS more compatible with MIDI software suites.
I can't wait to get my hands on this system and when I do, you will be the FIRST to know... For now, here is a few videos and press release explaining the updates at NAMM 2011.
