Nelly – Ride With Me (Viceroy “Jet Life” Remix)
If you are not familiar with the homie
, then welcome to the best summer of your life. The “dance game’s Jimmy Buffett” comes out of sunny San Fran, and creates a unique tropical sound that he has dubbed “summertime, all the time”. This month he has flipped
’s classic “Ride With Me” anthem, and turned it into a good vibe summer jam. Anytime this dude drops a mix, it’s immediately on our radar, so don’t be surprised to see more from Viceroy.
Future – Move That Dope feat. Pusha T, Pharrell, and Casino (C. Justice Bootleg)
(AKA Chris Justice) comes straight out of Georgia, and this month he hit us with one of the most dope remixes of the year so far. Move That Dope is banging out of speakers around the country right now, and while the raw hip-hop beat hits, this smooth remix puts a new feel to
’s hit single. Vibe out to this bootleg and show some love to C.
Logic ft. Jhene Aiko - Break It Down (Louis Futon Remix)
The young guns out of Philly known as
have been making some noise across the Soundcloud community, and music blogs alike. In this exclusive remix of
’s “Break It Down”, the producer duo puts a happy spin on an already dope track. After a cool intro using the first verse, the breakdown has a nu disco feel that has us cracking the windows and feeling the breeze. Stay tuned for Louis Futon’s new EP coming soon.
J. Cole – Forbidden Fruit feat. Kendrick Lamar (HU₵₵I Remix)
has been on fire for a minute now, and clearly has no intention of slowing down. The 17-year-old producer out of Brighton, UK has always managed to put his own spin on the trap wave, and this trippy flip of
’s popular track goes to show that this guy can make a banger of any sort.
PARTYNEXTDOOR – Persian Rugs (Salute. Edit)
Our next featured remix artist is a mysterious cat out of the Republic of Austria. It’s not easy to find a lot of info about the producer
, but it is easy to identify his smooth European style. His remix to
’s Persian Rugs is a nice blend between the original, love trap, and a hint of Jersey club. If you like this track, definitely check out the other sounds from Salute, and leave some feedback below!
