The Numark PT-01 Scratch is the best selling turntable for all of 2016 even though its only been released within the last six months of the year! This just goes to show how big the portablist/portablism market is right now where people want to be able to scratch anywhere at anytime and for a great introductory price. The PT-01 Scratch review has just been completed and I ended up keeping mine. Excellent all-in-one compact solution for all DJ's who want to get wicked with a small scratch machine.
The Pioneer PLX-1000 is shaping up to be the replacement of the Technics turntable that DJ's are liking the most. It doesn't have as many features as some other popular Super-OEM turntables, but its similarity to the basic-ness of the Technics is probably why DJ's are flocking to it. That and the fact that Pioneer DJ has a super-grip on the DJ booth culture at the current moment.
The Akai BT500 is a belt drive turntable that is used more for studio and audiophile use rather than DJ use, but it still comes in at a good pricepoint for consumers making the list...
This is some very interesting info and we'll have even more top three categories shortly to let you know what is coming out on top. Big shout-out to
