Traktor Pro 2.6 Released!

    All of the new functions that Native Instruments teased with the new Traktor Kontrol Z2 mixer is now available for free download to existing Traktor Pro users in the form of a 2.6 update. The new features include Macro FX which lets you combine multiple effects into one powerful effect and the new FLUX mode which is basically the same as the Pioneer or Denon "slip-mode". Check out the press release then head over to your NI Service Center to download your upgrade ASAP.

    There's plenty more going on under the hood including full compatibility with the Kontrol Z2 mixer, post-fader effects, and HID support for the new CDJ-2000nexus.     Traktor Pro 2.7 Released

    The new Traktor Pro 2.7.0 update is now released and with it comes support for the new Traktor Kontrol S8, the ability to use MK1 or MK2 Traktor timecode vinyl for DVS users, and a host of other improvements. The new Freeze/Slicer mode which was a huge hit on the Traktor DJ App is now available in Traktor 2.7.0 and it can be MIDI mapped to any controller the user sees fit.

    Traktor Kontrol Stand Released

    The new Traktor Kontrol Aluminum stand that brings the Traktor Kontrol F1 and X1 up to industry-standard Mixer/Deck Height is now available for sale anywhere Traktor Products are sold. The Traktor Kontrol Stand is a solid and non-slip extension that raises the Traktor Kontrol unit to the height of the Traktor Kontrol Z2 mixer and other DJ gear. The cover also keeps the hardware safe during transport. The new stand is available for $59 and can be obtained directly through NI via the links and press release inside.

    Urgent Traktor Pro 2.6.7 Update Now Available

    Today NI has released an Urgent update for all Traktor Pro 2.6.6 users that will fix a critical data-loss issue that causes playlists to become corrupted after tracks in a user library have been relocated. NI is asking all current 2.6.6 users to immediately upgrade to the new 2.6.7 file which is now located in the Native Instruments Service Center for free download.

    Traktor Pro 2.6.4 Update Now Available

    The Traktor Pro 2.6.4 update is out now via the NI Service Center. This update is free to all TRAKTOR PRO 2 users and it now adds support for the redesigned Traktor Kontrol S2/S4 controllers. This update also includes better cueing and looping with CD timecode and improved hot cue reliability in timecode mode.

    Traktor Pro 2.8 Released

    The new Traktor Pro 2.8.0 update is now released and with it comes support for the new Traktor Kontrol D2, support for the new Rane MP2015 Mixer, 64-Bit Architecture, and a host of other improvements. The Pioneer XDJ-1000 and CDJ-900NXS players also receive full HID support.

    Traktor 2.5.1 Update Released

    Native Instruments has just released the newest update for all Traktor Pro users called the Traktor PRO 2.5.1. This new update is BIG news for all Pioneer CDJ-900 and CDJ-2000 owners since this iteration will include native support and HID integration to work very nicely with Traktor Pro. Other users will find lots of other small improvements that will make everything flow and run smoother. One of my favorites is that the F1 one-shot samples will now automatically play in Non-Quantized mode.     While I was sick to the stomach for days on end last week, Native Instruments decided it would be the perfect time to release the details of the newly teased Traktor Mixer that everyone is dying to learn more about. Now that I'm (almost) back to form and playing catchup, I'll go over a few of the details with you on the brand new 2+2 Traktor Kontrol Z2 mixer, show you the new Ean Golden Demo video, and give you some additional links for more resources until we get our Review unit in the Lab for our notoriously detailed video reviews.     Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2 Leaked?

    Last week, (only a day after the Traktor Z1 was announced) the popular DJ Equipment website PSSL accidentally posted a new product by Native Instruments which appears to be the Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2. The original Traktor Kontrol X1 came out a few years ago and is commonly used by Traktor DJ's as a playback companion controller with DVS setups or other mixing consoles. The updated X1 has most of the same functions as the original with a few new additions including RGB backlit buttons for Remix Deck control, Flux Mode buttons, a Touch Sensitive Strip for beatmatching/nudging and much more.
