Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2 Leaked?

Last week, (only a day after the Traktor Z1 was announced) the popular DJ Equipment website PSSL accidentally posted a new product by Native Instruments which appears to be the Traktor Kontrol X1 MK2. The original Traktor Kontrol X1 came out a few years ago and is commonly used by Traktor DJ's as a playback companion controller with DVS setups or other mixing consoles. The updated X1 has most of the same functions as the original with a few new additions including RGB backlit buttons for Remix Deck control, Flux Mode buttons, a Touch Sensitive Strip for beatmatching/nudging and much more.

[Video] Introducing Traktor Remix Sets

Native Instruments set the DJ World ablaze with the inclusion of the new Remix Decks and the F1 controller which works in Traktor 2.6. Now, Traktor Pro owners have yet another reason to rejoice. Native Instruments will work with leading artists and music-makers to provide new loops and sample packs to its users in order to keep your sets fresh and new. Traktor Pro 2.6 Released!

All of the new functions that Native Instruments teased with the new Traktor Kontrol Z2 mixer is now available for free download to existing Traktor Pro users in the form of a 2.6 update. The new features include Macro FX which lets you combine multiple effects into one powerful effect and the new FLUX mode which is basically the same as the Pioneer or Denon "slip-mode". Check out the press release then head over to your NI Service Center to download your upgrade ASAP.

Traktor Kontrol Stand Released

The new Traktor Kontrol Aluminum stand that brings the Traktor Kontrol F1 and X1 up to industry-standard Mixer/Deck Height is now available for sale anywhere Traktor Products are sold. The Traktor Kontrol Stand is a solid and non-slip extension that raises the Traktor Kontrol unit to the height of the Traktor Kontrol Z2 mixer and other DJ gear. The cover also keeps the hardware safe during transport. The new stand is available for $59 and can be obtained directly through NI via the links and press release inside.

Free Scratch Upgrade for Traktor Kontrol S4 Users

Just last week I put out a video showing the Traktor Kontrol S4 DJ controller working with external decks using timecode in order to operate all four decks simultaneously with a lot more control. This video was done on Traktor Pro 2 at the time, but now Native Instruments is giving away a FREE "Scratch Upgrade Kit" which will allow users to mix and scratch with timecode via the directly connected turntables or CD decks.
