DJ Unkut, the 2011 DMC Online Turntablist Champion, is in the DJbooth in this demo video showing off the next step in Traktor Scratch performance: Native Scratch Technology. This year's Guitar Center (ATL) Spin-Off DJ battle competition was a huge success. The battle was held on Sunday October 27th at the Marietta, Georgia Guitar Center retail store and they had a packed house with spectators out the door trying to catch a glimpse. Legends such as Jaycee, DJ Sky, Shakim, Andre 3000, DJ Scream, and more were on hand to take in the festivities. There were a total of eight competing DJ's and we've got a couple of the sets and results to share with you for this week's Turntablist Video Friday episode.

The winner of the 2013 Online DMC DJ Championships has been announced by the DMC judges. The performance which took top honors for the entire competition was by JON1ST from the UK who does some seriously crispy scratching and out-of-this-world juggling in one of the best performances I've seen to date. Watch this phenomenal set by as he rips it up on a set of Technics 1210's and a new Rane Sixty-Two Mixer and get ready to see him at the World DMC DJ Championships in a few short weeks.

Kireek is the Reigning DMC Team Champions for the last three years at the DMC World Competition. They have won the World's most prestigious team title in 2007, 2008, 2009. This week's Turntablist Video Release makes another appearance today and this time we're back once again with the next Webisode in the "OnDaSpin" series with the legendary Kool DJ Red Alert. During this online series, there will be feature interviews along with performance footage from known and unknown DJ's in the industry. Each webisode will showcase the DJ and it gives them a chance to share their opinion and insight on their musical experiences. This webisode features Kool DJ Red Alert behind the Technics and he also gives an interesting interview on how he got his name and more.
