At the DJ Expo in Atlantic City, NJ last month, we were able to see the American Audio VSM4 media controller up close and personal and we were surprised at its versatility and multiple functionality. This 4-deck multimedia player is full of so many features and potential that the guys at proaudiostar decided to put out a quick video to explain the VSM4. Video inside.

The Numark 4Trak is finally here! The 4Trak is the newest Traktor Professional Digital DJ Controller brought to us by Numark DJ Division. The 4Trak is like the very successful Numark NS6 controller, but instead of working with Serato Itch, users can now use the 4Trak with Traktor and enjoy a perfect one-to-one mapping of all the Traktor controls right at the DJ's fingertips. We have a Numark 4Trak in the Lab for a Full HD-Video review which will be ready in a week or so. Last month we brought you the Full HD-Video review of the all-new Gemini CDJ-700 Multi-Media player with MIDI control capabilities. This affordable and diverse piece of machinery is suitable for all types of DJ's in many different media file playing formats as the CDJ-700 is able to play music from SD cards, USB drives, CD's, and through DJ software playback. Gemini DJ has just released the official product video, so we thought it might also be a good time to shoot you the link to the review once more just in case you missed it the first time. Gemini DJ division is throwing it's hat into the 4-deck/4-channel media controller arena at this year's NAMM 2011. Introducing the new Gemini CTRL-47 digital media controller. This unit boasts 4-channels of mixing goodness with two full jog wheels and it comes bundled with Virtual DJ 7. The press release doesn't provide too much information but on the face of the unit, you can see controls for loops, effects, samples, and hot cues. Will the Gemini controller be up to the hype or will it get lost in the fray of other 4-channel media controllers? Only time will tell as this is the first iteration in the CTRL series of media controllers that will soon be released in 2011. Full Press Release Inside...
