Ultrasone Releases Standard & Balanced Headphone Versions of the PRO 2900
The people over at Ultrasone are doing something new and innovative in the world of DJ Headphones. Ultrasone has announced the release of their newest headphones, the PRO-2900 which are available in both the standard, single cable version and a balanced, double cable version. The double-cable version is said to improve sound reproduction and is coupled with a balanced amplifier to ensure audio integrity. The single-cable version makes it easy to connect without having cables on both sides of the headphones to get in the way of the mix. Besides the balanced and unbalanced features, these headphones are seriously TOP in its class with velvet earpads, 40mm titanium-plated drivers and a soft USC-Cable that is paired with Neutrik connectors. The PRO 2900s also contain Ultrasone’s patented S-Logic™ Plus technology for reduced sound pressure on the ear drum and improved tonal perception. This gives users the advantage of wearing Ultrasone headphones for many hours without their ears hurting. All this doesn't come cheap and you have to pay to play (literally) when it comes to Ultrasone headphones. The balanced set retails at $799 while the unbalanced set goes for $549.
