The Traktor Kontrol Z2 is finally upon us and my review unit is steadily on its way to the lab for our full-out and extremely-detailed HD-Video review. The unboxing video will make it's way to you first, so stay tuned. In the meantime, Native Instruments finally decided to let DJ Craze put some of his turntablist wizardry to work on the new Traktor Kontrol Z2 and the results are excellent! We recently reviewed the new Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S8 which is a very powerful DJ controller for Traktor while also working as a DVS enabled mixer for external turntables and CDJ style control. The legendary DJ Shiftee has just completed a pretty sick turntable timecode DVS performance along with using some of the new cool features on the Traktor Kontrol S8 such as Freeze Mode. The new Traktor created controller-mixer is now in the DJbooth Lab for a full out HD-Video review. The new Traktor Kontrol Z2 2+2 controller/mixer has been available for about a month now, but they've been flying off the store shelves pretty quickly. Fortunately, my good friend's over at Native Instruments sent me a unit directly from Germany so our readers can see exactly what the Z2 is all about. The Full HD-Video and written reviews regarding the new hardware and the Traktor 2.6 Software update will be done within the next week or so. The Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 Mixer has been out on the market for a few months now and everyone who loves Traktor loves using this mixer. For the past few years, there's been one DJ crossfader on the market that seems to rise above the competition.
