When Native Instruments announced the new Maschine MK2 and the Maschine Mikro MK2 a few weeks ago, they also released a set of cool accessories to make your time with the unit more enjoyable. Native Instruments has just produced the new Maschine Stand (which is compatible with the original Maschine as well) and a Custom Kit. The Maschine Stand brings the unit up a bit and also puts it on a perfect angle for viewing and easy manipulation. The Custom Kit is a replacement metal front-plate and knobs that come in 5 different color schemes to make you stand out from the crowd. They come in Gold (displayed in the video), Red, Pink, Blue, and Graphite. Included in each custom kit is a colored brushed-aluminum magnetic faceplate (that actually replaces the metal faceplate already on the unit), 8 aluminum encoder knobs, a larger master knob, and a plastic cap remover. The full written review of the Machine MK2 is still on the way, but you can check out my quick HD-Video install of the new NI Stand and Solid Gold Custom Kit below...
