The Pioneer XDJ-AERO is a very fun all-in-one DJ Mixstation and a very capable DJ controller with great build quality and lots of features. We recently reviewed the Pioneer XDJ-AERO a few short months ago and it is really one of my favorite machines to DJ with. It's just a lot of fun and there are so many ways to use it in a DJ setup. Pioneer DJ has released a new walkthrough video that shows users of the XDJ-AERO how to use the new Auto-Cue Memory Recall feature. Check out the video and Full HD-Video review after the jump.

The brand new Pioneer XDJ-AERO is now available on store shelves everywhere for DJ's to test and purchase. DJ Controllers

We recently reviewed the new Pioneer XDJ-AERO all in one wireless digital DJ mixstation and it was really one of the best times I've had on any DJ controller in recent memory. It was very easy to use, had great feel and construction, and lots of different ways that DJ's can mix their music together. The new Pioneer XDJ-AERO now has a 2.0 Firmware update which gives DJ's better control over the sample banks and a few other improvements here and there. DJ Controllers

The Pionner XDJ-Aero All-in-one Wireless DJ system is a compact and versatile machine that allows DJ's to playback music using many different media formats including live streaming via wireless devices running the Remotebox software or App. Pioneer has just released the new XDJ-Aero 3.0 Firmware upgrade and Rekordbox 1.2 that now allows users to control functions of the mix such as loops and effects directly from a mobile device.

Mixers

Pioneer DJ has just announced the XDJ-R1 which is an all-in-one multi-media playback device that can be completely controlled by a wireless connection to an iPad, iPod Touch, or iPhone via Pioneer's specially designed remotebox app. DJ's can now control the mixing, volume, fading and other functions of the XDJ-R1 from way across the room. The XDJ-R1 is very versatile with CD slots, USB ports (both for MIDI software control or for Flash/Hard Drive playback), and dual screens for a true standalone capability. Pioneer has just released a slew of Tutorial and Walkthrough Videos in order to get people familiar with all the features and functions. Watch these new videos here.

DJ Controllers

I had so much fun reviewing and performing on the Pioneer XDJ-AERO and using it both as a MIDI controller and as a standalone mixing console with the wireless Rekordbox software. The controls just felt right and the build quality of the XDJ-AERO was also better than the norm. Everything also fit in a nice compact and relatively thin package for easy transport. For NAMM 2013 Pioneer DJ has announced that they are producing a Pearl White version of the XDJ-AERO which will be on sale in March for the suggested retail price of $1400. Fresh off the heels of yesterday's new announcement made by Pioneer DJ Division regarding the release of the new DDJ-ERGO-K (Limited Edition); Pioneer has kicked it up another notch by announcing the new Pioneer XDJ-AERO Wireless Digital DJ Controller which can playback and DJ music from any Wi-Fi device such as smartphones, iPads, laptops, or any other device that is capable of using Pioneer's music managing software Rekordbox. The XDJ-AERO can also function as a standalone mixer, as a HID controller for Virtual DJ, and as a MIDI controller for Traktor or Serato. Check out the video, press release and our words inside.

On the very last day of the 2012 Atlantic City DJ Expo, my good friends at Pioneer DJ Division hooked me up with an exclusive rundown video of the newly announced Pioneer XDJ-AERO. This new Digital DJ controller has the capability to playback audio files from USB drives, it can function as a MIDI controller for all popular DJ software, as well as allowing smartphones and tablets to deliver audio files over a WIFI wireless network via the Rekordbox software.
