[Video] Reloop Keypad Compact DAW Workstation Unboxing & First Impressions

The Reloop brand makes some great DJ equipment that we always review here in the DJbooth.net Lab with good results. They've decided to throw their hats into the production realm with the release of the new Reloop Keypad and Keyfadr controllers which are compact, USB-powered, and affordable DAW Workstations that both come bundled with Ableton Live Lite 9 to allow users to start creating music right out of the box. The Keypad controller (pictured above) has the same 25 mini piano keys as the Keyfadr, but it also adds the 16 Velocity Sensitive (and backlit) pads that producers have grown to love. We've got our hands on the new Reloop Keypad and we are working on the full written and video reviews but check out the unboxing & first impressions video in the meantime.

Reloop Terminal Mix 2 Unboxing & First Impressions Video

A few weeks ago, we reviewed the new Reloop Terminal Mix 4 and found that it was a very solid controller with some of the best jog wheels we've ever used. Now, Reloop has released it's little brother and two-channel edition of the same controller for those who don't necessarily need four decks of control. The Reloop Terminal Mix 2 has that same metal build quality and full-size jog wheels as the TM4, but it's more compact and a bit simpler with less controls. The HD-Video review will be released shortly, but watch my unboxing/first impressions video to see it up close and personal.
