He's also a Serato Icon Series DJ who continues to push the boundaries of music. The Serato team went to his NYC studio for an interview on his musical background and how he sees the DJ today.

I am a huge fan of all things turntablist related and a lot of the love of the game came from none other than D-Styles. For the past fifteen years I watched D-Styles (and the whole Skratch Piklz Team) rip it up on the decks like no one else can. DJ Jazzy Jeff is one of the most iconic names in the Hip-Hop DJ Game and it's been that way for quite a long time now! DJ Jazzy Jeff (known for making so many classics with the Fresh Prince), is one of the main reasons I started DJ-ing in the first place. He's one of the most influential DJ's in the industry and Serato decided to pay homage by recording a few Serato Icon Artist profile videos to highlight this legendary DJ. Serato DJ has teamed up with Nick Hook, (a NY based performer, DJ, and producer) to bring his new "COLLAGE V.1" four Track EP album to vinyl in Serato fashion. On one side there will be music from the new Nick Hook album, and on the other there will be Serato timecode for DJ's to use with Serato DJ.
