    Stanton, (now part of Gibson Audio Division) has teamed up with the Legendary DMC DJ Battle company to bring us an eight-part web video series showing DJ Switch and Cutmaster Swift getting busy on the Stanton STR8-150 turntables and Stanton M.207 two-channel Professional Effects Mixer. The videos also go into the details of their sets and why the professional Stanton DJ gear gets the job done nicely. Check out this quick web-series after the jump.

    Stanton KRK Cerwin Vega DJ Booth - 2011 Atlantic City DJ Expo Video Coverage

    Watch the official DJbooth.net Video Coverage of the Stanton/KRK/Cerwin Vega DJ Booth at the 2011 Atlantic City DJ Expo at the Trump Taj Mahal. On-hand were the entire line of Stanton DJ Products like the SCS.4DJ, SCS.1 System, the SCS.3 system, the new CMP.800 media player, the M.203 and M.207 Mixers, and the Scratch DJ Academy MIX! Software. Also present were the Entire KRK monitoring lineup and the Cerwin Vega loudspeaker line as well. DJ B-side was ripping it up on the SCS.4DJ while also having the time to go over a few pointers for my upcoming video review.

    [Video] DJ Premier & Biz Markie at Gibson Pro Audio Booth

    Last month at the 2013 Atlantic City DJ Expo at the Trump Taj Mahal we were treated to DJ royalty at the Stanton, KRK, and Cerwin Vega booth (AKA Gibson Pro Audio) with both DJ Premier and Biz Markie showing everyone some turntable and mixing skills we won't soon forget. Premier and Biz appeared at the DJ Expo on separate days, but they both performed at the Gibson Pro Audio booth and we all had a blast. Check out the video performances if you weren't able to make it out in person.

    Pioneer DJM-S9 Mr. Switch Performance [Video]

    Pioneer DJ has just released the brand new two-channel scratch/battle DJ Mixer that works in perfect harmony with Serato DJ and has all of the Pioneer FX that DJ's have come to love. The new Pioneer DJM-S9 Serato DJ Mixer sports eight RGB backlit pads for each channel, dual USB ports for easy DJ switch-overs, and a new Magvel Pro scratch crossfader that has many unique adjustments and features for todays scratch DJ's. The Pioneer DJ team has released a quick performance video which shows Mr. Switch (DMC World Champ) getting busy on the DJM-S9 and a set of PLX-1000 Turntables.

    Turntablist Video Friday: Stanton 150 Turntables

    In my opinion, the greatest analog turntables on the market right now are the Stanton STR8-150 (Straight tonearm) and Stanton ST-150 (S-tonearm) decks. They have super-strong motors, sturdy construction, and a familiar layout that works flawlessly. It seems that the DJ's and teachers at the Scratch Academy also think the same as they use the Stanton 150 decks in their everyday setups. Check out the video inside to see what the Scratch Academy DJ's have to say.

    Turntablist Video Friday: Denon DN-S3700 Vs. Stanton 150 Turntables

    It's not everyday that you get a comparison video between analog and digital turntables. On this rare occasion DJ Demonite puts his Denon DN-S3700 digital MIDI Controllers up against a set of Stanton ST-150 turntables and a set of Stnaotn STR8-150 turntables as well. In this three way battle, you will see DJ Demonite put it down on the 1's and 2's regardless of gear type. Check out the full video inside.

    [TVR] Vekked 2013 DMC Online Round 4

    The 2013 Online DMC Championships of 2013 are going on right now and the competition is definitely getting intense. Last week I brought you Redmist's Round 4 performance that I thought was a sure-fire win. It turns out that Round 4 is now in the books and Vekked takes top honors with an incredible performance of crisp scratching and a great overall performance. Check out Vekked Round 4's first place performance as he tears it up on the Rane mixer Sixty-Two and a pair of Stanton STR8-150 turntables.
