[Video] Traktor Kontrol Z2 Unboxing & First Impressions

The new Traktor created controller-mixer is now in the DJbooth Lab for a full out HD-Video review. The new Traktor Kontrol Z2 2+2 controller/mixer has been available for about a month now, but they've been flying off the store shelves pretty quickly. Fortunately, my good friend's over at Native Instruments sent me a unit directly from Germany so our readers can see exactly what the Z2 is all about. The Full HD-Video and written reviews regarding the new hardware and the Traktor 2.6 Software update will be done within the next week or so. For now, check out our unboxing and first impressions video after the jump to see what the Z2 looks like straight out of the box.

Traktor Kontrol Z2 'Happy Hour' Sale!

The Traktor Kontrol Z2 is currently my weapon of choice for my own DJ gigs and personal everyday mixing and scratching routines. The Z2 is a nicely built mixer with everything users need to get started with a full Traktor Digital Vinyl System including the timecode vinyl/CD's and the full Traktor Pro 2 software right in the box. Users only need to supply a compatible computer, CD decks or turntables, and music files to start spinning. NI has just announced a new Z2 'Happy Hour' Sale which drops the price to only $599 from now until June 30th. Check out my review and press release after the jump.

In the meantime, Native Instruments finally decided to let DJ Craze put some of his turntablist wizardry to work on the new Traktor Kontrol Z2 and the results are excellent! The newest Native Instruments DJ controller is finally in the lab for a full out HD-video review. The Traktor Kontrol F1 is the new USB DJ controller that can perfectly control the new Traktor 2.5 Remix Decks that was recently introduced to the DJ world last month. With the F1, DJ's now have the power to control one-shot samples, loops, and cue points within Traktor like never before. There's a lot to cover and we'll have the review video done shortly. [Video] Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 & S4 MK2 Unboxing & First Impressions

The new Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2 and S4 MK2 Digital DJ controllers were just released to the public last week and we've got review units in the lab for full out video and written reviews. The new controllers boast improvements to the original designs by adding multi-color hotcue/remix deck pads, hi-res aluminum metal plate jog wheels, FLUX mode buttons, and Traktor DJ iOS compatibility. The original S2 and S4 DJ controllers were the perfect 2-channel and 4-channel mixing consoles for the Traktor software. The Traktor software has seen lots of new updates since the release of the original S2 /S4 so it's only natural that NI releases new controller interfaces to access the new advanced features such as remix decks controls and FLUX mode. We'll have the full reviews completed shortly, but check out our unboxing & first impressions videos in the meantime to see what comes in the boxes.
