A few short weeks ago, Vestax announced a new update to their successful entry-level Digital DJ controller for the MAC platform called the Spin2. The Spin2 DJ MIDI controller is fully certified by Apple Inc to work with any Mac, iPad, iPhone, and the iPod Touch along with the Algoriddim djay app for mixing, cueing and scratching with great results. The Spin2 has controls for cue points, triggers, loops, effects, samples, and neat jog wheels to put you in the mix. Check out the intro video and full press release after the jump.

The biggest story with the Spin2 is the new ability of the Mac iOS 6 to now split the outputs into two proper outputs to provide DJ's with true Stereo Main out and a true stereo Cue Out for monitoring. The new Vestax Spin2 DJ controller for iOS devices is now available for purchase across the Globe. The Spin2 DJ MIDI controller is fully certified by Apple Inc to work with any Mac, iPad, iPhone, and the iPod Touch along with the Algoriddim djay app for mixing, cueing and scratching capabilities. The Spin2 works with the new Mac iOS 6 to split the outputs into two proper stereo outputs to provide DJ's with true Main and Cue Out for monitoring. The Spin2 is now available in the US for $349. The Vestax VCI-400 Digital DJ controller is extremely versatile as it can work with both the full Serato DJ software and Traktor Pro 2 with great results. I've decided to keep the VCI-400 for my personal controller of choice and since then we've upgraded the crossfader (on our DIY Video) and now we're ready to customize the looks. With the help of our friends over at Styleflip.com we were able to perfectly match the black/white pinstripe design on my DVS setup and replicate it on the VCI-400.

The popular entry-level and compact DJ controller by Pioneer DJ called the DDJ-WeGO can now be used in conjunction with the Algoriddim's djay Software for Mac. The DDJ-WeGO can already be used with any DJ software, but owners of the DDJ-WeGO can now go to the Pioneer DJ website and download a copy of Algoriddim's djay for FREE and have yet another way to mix with this tight little controller. On Monday of this week, Numark has revealed it's newest DJ controller that they are dubbing as "The Next Big Thing" called the NV. The Numark NV Controller promises to change the game by adding 4.3-inch full color displays above each jog wheel deck so that users can see waveforms, cue points, loops, music libraries, effects, and all the other important visual information so that DJ's can put the laptop away for good.

Vestax, one of my personal favorite DJ companies, has recently announced that they will be bringing out a brand new version of the very popular VCI-300 Digital DJ controller. Introducing the new Vestax VCI-380 Digital DJ controller which is basically a VCI-300 with eight Vestax PAD-ONE pads integrated atop each deck that allows DJ's to trigger cue points, samples, loops, slice up beats, and shoot off Pad FX together. The Vestax VCI-380 has been out on the market for a little over a year now, but its still one of my favorite controllers to use with Serato. During our HD-Video review, we loved the build quality, tight jog wheels, and excellent fader feel along with the a set of input and output options that are available to the users. The VCI-380 now gets a free software upgrade from Serato Itch to the new and improved Serato DJ and Martin from the Serato team gives us a quick demo video of the new look and features.
