- Artist: Mike Golden
- Track: 4 Year Interlude
- Producer: Scot Stewart and Mike Golden
- Album: Golden
Fresh off an appearance on Surf, the acclaimed free album from Donnie Trumpet, singer/songwriter and producer Mike Golden makes his solo debut on our pages with the premiere of a brand new record. On 4 Year Interlude, the Chicago native expertly compares the brief intermissions on an album to the short pauses in a relationship. For Golden, that interlude lasted four years and six months. Like on an album, though, the relationship must go on after the interlude comes to a close. Scot Stewart, Golden's longtime co-producer and collaborator, leads the way behind-the-boards, with the headliner assisting and March Walloch (currently playing for AWOLnation) contributing on bass. A short film, directed by Elijah Alvarado, is on the way, as is a collaborative album featuring work with The Social Experiment, SaveMoney and a host of GRAMMY-nominated producers and award winning musicians.
