Little Simz - Lane Switch

DJBooth_logo2x

Last month, Little Simz unleashed AGE 101: DROP 4, the fourth installment in her ongoing EP series. Today, she returns to our pages for the first time in roughly eight weeks, and with her is a new record. Not slated for inclusion on her forthcoming, still-untitled debut, Lane Switch finds the UK emcee showing off her rappity rap skillset in an effort to make sure people don't need to hear that "fake sh*t." The RASCAL-produced effort should turn some unfamiliar heads, though, her singing vocals on the chorus leave plenty to be desired. The aforementioned debut will be released on her own indie label, AGE 101 MUSIC, later this summer.
