Maryland rhymesayer Substantial is gearing up to release his new EP, the second of three consecutive releases, later this month. The first single released from the five-track project is Lasting Impression, which is produced by project collaborator Algorythm of The Stuyvesants. The song, as it’s title suggests, is a memorable display of heady bars, delivered in no nonsense fashion. The veteran emcee is assisted by GRAMMY nominated singer/songwriter Wayna, who handles beautifully-delivered complementary vocals. Always, slated for release on July 17, should get fans excited for Sub’s forthcoming full-length, The Past Is Always Present In The Future, due out later this year.
